STP Mass'a Bass'a— a highly specialized vibration damping material designed for use in car audio sports. Participants in such competitions need maximum increase in the rigidity of the car body, which is provided by this bitumen-mastic material. Increased rigidity of the structure prevents the spread of extreme vibrations, and the increased coefficient of mechanical losses allows to combat residual structural vibrations. Massa Bassa is glued to the metal using a mastic layer and blocks the access of moisture and air, thereby preventing corrosion processes.
